DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Marketing
Associate - Digital and CRM to execute DISCO's communications
strategy across owned digital channels. This role will focus on
delivering effective, engaging, and impactful messages to our users
via our website, email campaigns, in-app notifications, and more.As
a key member of the marketing team, you will play a critical role
in delivering marketing, product, and sales messages to new and
existing customers, while working to drive engagement, retention,
and growth. This position requires a deep understanding of digital
tools, CRM systems and a passion for creating meaningful user
experiences. Music industry marketing experience
preferred.Responsibilities
- Execute Communications Strategy: Implement and manage DISCO's
communications strategy across website, email, in-app
notifications, and other digital channels.
- Execute Lifecycle Campaigns: Execute customer lifecycle
campaigns to drive retention and lifetime value, tailoring messages
to key moments in the user journey.
- Test and Provide Analytics: Plan and execute A/B tests to
optimize messaging, layouts, and user experiences across digital
channels and deliver results/recommendations.
- Content Optimization: Create, test, and optimize content and
messaging for maximum impact across all channels.
- Understand User Personas: Develop a deep understanding of
DISCO's user personas and ensure communications are aligned with
their needs and behaviors.
- CRM Management: Work daily within DISCO CRM platform (Intercom)
to deliver outgoing comms, audience segmentation, automation, and
reporting.
- Website Updates: Use tools like Webflow or Builder to create
landing pages to support features releases and marketing projects.
In addition, update and enhance DISCO's website, ensuring it
reflects the brand and drives conversions.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze performance metrics, such as
open rates, click-through rates, and engagement, to continuously
improve communications and achieve key KPIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product
marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align messaging and
support department goals.
- Channel Expansion: Explore and integrate additional owned
digital channels to enhance communication efforts.
- Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines,
ensuring stakeholders are aware of timing, major milestones, and
deliverables.Experience and Skills
- Experience: 3+ years in digital marketing, CRM management, or a
similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as HubSpot,
Intercom, Webflow, and Builder are required.
- Digital Savvy: Strong understanding of digital communication
channels, user engagement strategies, A/B testing, and optimization
techniques.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data, draw insights,
and make informed decisions to improve campaigns and
processes.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to content creation,
execution, and reporting.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communicator and team player
with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
- Passion for Communication: Keen interest in bringing effective
communications directly to users in creative and impactful
ways.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience using tools like
Google Analytics for website optimization.
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics (e.g., MRR, CAC, LTV) and how
marketing campaigns influence these KPIs.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovative communication
approaches to engage users effectively.Nice to Haves
