Job Title: DevSecOps EngineerLocation: San Diego, CAUS
Citizenship: RequiredJob Description:As a DevSecOps Engineer for
Technology Unlimited Group (TUG), you will be responsible for
maintaining the automation process for building, testing, and
deploying software. You will manage installation and configuration
of the Linux Operating System and applications for facilitating
continuous integration and continuous delivery. You will also test,
maintain and support applications and operating system software.
The DevSecOps Engineer must possess a Government Security
Clearance.Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Working with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7+ and 8+) and
Windows 10
- Working with a variety of open-source tools and technologies
(Jenkins, Git, GitLab) for source code management and automated
builds
- Developing and implementing shell scripts to ensure the build,
packaging, testing, and deployment of solutions is automated
- Performing Cybersecurity procedures to include hardening of the
underlying operating system and Security Technical Implementation
Guides (STIG) verification
- Troubleshooting and resolving system hardware, software and
connectivity issues
- Performing configurations and adjustments to enhance system
performance
- Learning how to install, configure and administer various
Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) automation products and software
applications unique to military missionsDesired Skills and
Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security+ Certificate and operating system
certification
- Operating System Unattended/Network Installation (Kickstart,
answer, etc)
- Containerization (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or
similar)
- Virtualization (Hyper-V, VirtualBox, QEMU/KVM, or similar)
- Writing scripts (Groovy, Python, Ruby, Grunt JS, Shell
scripting (e.g., Bash, Zsh, Ksh, etc.), or similar)
- Database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
- Identity and Access Management (SSO, IPA, OAuth, Keycloak,
Kerberos, or similar)
- Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning tools and
