not years.SUMMARY / ABOUT THE JOBAnduril's strategic communications
team is responsible for shaping and driving Anduril's narrative
globally. We inform the world about how we're building the future
of defense through our capabilities, software, and hardware
products. We're looking for a Writer to join our team. As the
Writer, you help advance Anduril's vision for transforming US and
allied defense capabilities through storytelling and robust content
strategies.As the Director, Editorial you will serve as Anduril's
chief writer and narrative architect, crafting compelling content
that defines who we are, what we do, and why it matters. This role
demands a masterful communicator who can translate complex ideas
into clear, persuasive, and inspiring writing across a variety of
formats. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional
teams to ensure Anduril's voice is consistent, engaging, and
aligned with our strategic goals. You will be able to adjust your
tone and style for different audiences, while communicating through
the lens, voice, and tone of our brand. To be successful, you'll
need to not only be a strong writer, but also have deep experience
in project management, narrative development, and content
strategy.What you'll do:
- Develop a cohesive content strategy aligned with Anduril's
business objectives and key initiatives.
- Shape thought leadership programs by crafting executive-level
communications, blog posts, OpEds, white papers, and
research-driven content.
- Spot trends and newsjack, identifying opportunities to insert
Anduril's voice and relevant points of view in external
conversations.
- Content Creation:
- Work with executives, subject matter experts, and external
influencers to craft compelling pieces of content.
- Pitch, produce, report, and write original content for
Anduril's newsroom and blog.
- Work with marketing and design to develop engaging video
content that supports our global narratives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on developing and writing
speeches and keynote presentations.
- Insights-Driven Storytelling:
- Manage research projects that can serve as the foundation for
thought leadership.
- Amplification & Distribution:
- Own content distribution strategy across owned, earned, and
paid channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to amplify thought
leadership and insights.
- Project Management:
- Manage editorial calendars, content production timelines,
ensuring projects are delivered on time and consistent with our
narrative.
- Set and achieve KPIs and performance metrics, regularly reviews
performance of channels against KPIs, measures long-term trends and
short-term performance and optimizes content strategy
accordingly.Qualifications:
- Experience with speechwriting and/or editorial writing.
- A rich background in content strategy and storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and a
passion for storytelling.
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical jargon
into compelling easy-to-understand messaging, and compelling
stories for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects
simultaneously in an organized fashion.
- Strong organizational, project management, and analytical
skills. Proven capability to manage everything from strategy to
details of day-to-day program execution.
- Willing to flex between higher-level strategy and detailed
executional work.US Salary Range: $142,000 - $213,000 USD.The
salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of
compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary
offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience,
education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business
considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in
the majority of full-time offers; and are considered part of
Anduril's total compensation package. Additionally, Anduril offers
