forward.Job Purpose: Responsible for supporting and evangelizing
the global HR initiatives for the North America region, which
includes employees in the US, Canada, Australia, and Mexico.
Working with the global team to ensure consistency and cohesion.
Reporting to the SVP of Human Resources and collaborating heavily
with the global HR team, they will ensure the integrity of the HR
programs and processes while providing the needed guidance,
training and support to the individual teams in their region.
Duties & Responsibilities:Business Partner to Regional
Management
- Partner with local Management Team Leads to ensure compliance
with Global and Regional HR policies and best practices
- Have regular check-ins with Managers to surface team or
individual issues and ensure new hires are being integrated
successfully
- Integrate into Management and other key team meetings to
provide guidance and help problem solve
- Act as trainer and support for Managers on performance
management best practices. Provide coaching and guidance for Annual
alignment discussions, Introductory reviews, Semi Annual
Performance Evaluations and other processes required by the
Company, evangelizing the global Matrix and Framework to ensure
fairness and consistency in rewards, recognition and growth
opportunities
- Assist managers in interpreting and applying HR policies and
procedures to ensure fair and consistent management practices,
recognizing and removing unconscious bias at every level.Employee
Lifecycle Administration
- Manage the local onboarding process and ensure new hires are
effectively integrated into the company
- Conduct new hire orientation for Regional hires
- Record/request all employee changes (manager, title or
department changes, pay rises, promotions, terminations) in tracker
for the Sr HR Generalist to execute
- Process 90 day probationary letters as applicable
- Process and file all necessary paperwork/forms as it relates to
onboarding (including right to work process, benefits enrollment,
etc) and offboarding
- Ensure time off requests are entered into our HRIS system
properly and in a timely manner
- Liaise with Finance to ensure payroll trackers are updated to
ensure any necessary adjustments are capturedEmployee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee issues,
complaints, grievances and requests, providing guidance and support
to resolve concerns.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances, disciplinary
matters, and other workplace conflicts, ensuring a fair and
consistent approach in line with global and regional company
policies and regional legal requirements.
- Manage performance related conversations, disciplinary actions
and corresponding dismissals or redundancies in conjunction with
Global HR guidance and local statutory guidelines/labor
lawsTraining and Development
- Identify training needs for teams and individuals in
conjunction with managers, and coordinate with the central HR team
to arrange necessary training and development programs consistent
with the global professional development program
- Support the delivery of training sessions on HR policies,
leadership skills, and legal compliance as required.Compliance and
Risk Management
- Partner with local employment law resources and global team to
ensure all HR practices within the region comply with legal and
regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of regional HR
policies and procedures, adapting central HR guidelines to regional
specifics as necessary.Employee Engagement/Culture
- Implement and support initiatives to drive employee engagement
and foster a positive work environment.
- Work with the central HR team to develop strategies to improve
employee satisfaction and retention.
- Offer resources and support to employees seeking help (mental
health resources, worklife balance issues, personal issues which
may affect their work, performance, attendance, etc.)Recruiting
- Ensure integrity of the recruiting process regionally, aligning
with Global philosophies and practices
- Strategize with hiring managers to define job requirements,
screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Assist in the Development of job accountabilities, challenge
assignments, and postings
- Partner with external recruiter(s)
- Conduct HR interviews/screensPayroll and Benefits
- Manage Regional benefits administration
- Provide Regional payroll processing support for
AccountingMiscellaneous
- Ad hoc projects as assigned by the global SVP of HR and
Regional MDSkills, Qualifications, & Attributes:
- 5-7 years or equivalent relevant experience and demonstrated
success in an HR Business Partner or Generalist capacity,
preferably in a start up environment
- 3-5 years (or equivalent) in an management capacity or
demonstrated expertise in management principals, tools and best
practices
- Proficiency in local compliance and regulatory laws with an
understanding of how to integrate into policy administration
- Experience with a remote, hybrid work culture
- Very high level of attention to detail in: administration of
systems, reporting and employee data administration
- Execution Excellence: Demonstrated ability to execute HR plans
effectively, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and
core values.
- Cross-Cultural Competence: Ability to understand and bridge
cultural differences, ensuring that HR practices align with local
customs while maintaining global standards.
- Strategic HR Leadership: Capable of developing and implementing
HR strategies that support the company's vision, especially in
fostering a non-siloed, collaborative environment.

helping employees navigate through uncertainty and adapting HR
strategies as needed.
