What does the role entail?

A Cook II requires good communication and culinary skills. The
desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a
culinary degree. A Cook II should have a professional knowledge of
cooking ingredients and procedures. Cook II will work single
stations in the kitchen and omelet station. Will need to
multi-task, cooking for areas such as Banquets and Outlets.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced
environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
- Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking
skills.
- Able to work single station in the kitchen.
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
- Grilling and saut-- station experience required.
- Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods
of time.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate
amounts of weight.
- California Food Handlers Certification required.
