Job Description Seeking an experienced IT systems administrator
to support our San Diego, CA classified lab environments with
expertise in setting up and managing Windows and Linux based
systems and Virtual Machines. A successful candidate will be a
well-rounded administrator joining a team supporting internal
customers, designing, implementing, and managing lab infrastructure
to meet the customer requirements.As a Senior System Administrator
supporting our classified lab environments will make impacts in the
following ways:
Support the design and implementation
of workgroup-scale networks, build and manage authentication,
file-share, and other collaboration servers to support groups of
heterogeneous client systems.Partner with industrial security to
develop and apply hardening configurations for systems for
classified use to RMF requirements; Document system configuration
for new and existing systems; Experience with centralized
authentication technologies such as LDAP and Active Directory
domains in supporting Windows/Linux cross-platform clients is
desirable. Maintains operation of multi-user computer systems,
including coordination with network engineers.Setting up
administrator and service account, maintaining system
documentation, turning system performance, installing system wide
software, and allocate mass storage spaceMakes recommendations to
purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and
provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and
standards related to the use of computing resources.Respond to
occasional off-hours outages and take part in subsequent service
restoration efforts.Organize and direct the configuration and
operation of information management systems. Conduct capacity and
performance analysis and provide system configuration change and
upgrade recommendations. Increases system administrator efficiency
and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts. Facilitate
Active Directory administrative tasks, integration needs, and
business requirements.Document and test AD Domain Controller's
disaster recovery procedures.Provide strategies for maintaining a
secure Active Directory environment.Maintain Privileged Access
Workstation for accessing Domain Controllers and other mission
critical enterprise servers.Required Education, Experience, &
Skills
Bachelor's Degree and six (6) or more
years of relevant work experience.CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)
and a Secret Clearance (with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with
Polygraph) will be required to work in the environment.Expertise
with enterprise-level deployments of Exchange 2013-2019.Ability to
manage backups and backup systems for Exchange.Configuration
experience of email clients to including Outlook.Hands-on
experience in supporting Microsoft Windows 2012/2016/2019, Active
Directory, and GPO validation and design.Understanding of the inner
working of Active Directory and its components.Thorough
understanding of monitoring best practices for Active Directory and
related services.SQL install and configuration to include backup
and restore capabilities. Ability to translate technical issues
into understandable business language for end users and other
technical support personnel.Must possess excellent communication,
presentation, and writing skills.Must be customer service oriented,
attentive to detail, self-motivated, and work well in teams.
Flexibility in approach to finding solutions, the ability to
understand, act on the customer needs and priorities, and learn new
technologies quickly are some of the qualities a successful

TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Experience in automating
administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting
languages.Knowledge of SQL commands.Working knowledge of scripting
languages (ie. PowerShell, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, etc.)TCP/IP
and Microsoft Networking conceptsWorking knowledge of Virtual
Machine (VM) technologies (ESXi, VCenter, VSphere, VMware)Working
knowledge of NetApp, Dell Unity, HPE Nimble, Commvault
ManagementExperience with automated backup systemsPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
