Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat & Seafood Team Lead to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Team Leader and Associate Store Team Leader in providing leadership and supervision of the entire store.Main Responsibilities

• Leadership and Supervision: Assist the Store Team Leader and Associate Store Team Leader in providing leadership and supervision of the entire store.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop Floor Leads and Team Members to achieve and surpass all store goals.
• Store Operations: Assist with operating the store in an efficient and profitable manner to achieve all sales, labor, budgeted expense targets, and contribution goals.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure that all Team Members are providing excellent customer service.
• Store Maintenance: Assist with maintaining a clean and safe store environment, including ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
• Inventory Management: Assist with analyzing product ordering, transfers, rotation, waste, and spoilage to maximize efficiencies and profitability.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with Team Members, Store Leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure that all store goals and objectives are met.Requirements
  • Experience: Two years of relevant experience as a Team Leader or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Proven successful background in retail, grocery retail preferred; strong leadership, financial expertise, and ability to adhere to budgets; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
