• 63 people are interestedOur goal is to actually do something about global warming that has an immediate effect. We are tired of talking, protesting, donating money when we can't really see results. This simple operation creates a huge benefit for very little work. We are inflating tires in cars on a mass scale. Every car we touch saves 30 pounds of carbon dioxide from our atmosphere and takes about 2 minutes. There is a really good feeling when you have worked a few hours and with your bare hands have saved thousands of pounds of greenhouse gases from our air.We need volunteers in every category from the tech savvy, the finance side, frontline technicians, logistics experts, marketing, and the growth area. This needs to go worldwide to be most effective, and we need your help to do that.About Footsprint IncLocation:19301 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana, CA 91356, USMission StatementWe are committed to immediate impact actions to reduce carbon output in vehicles. We reduce 10 pounds of carbon dioxide with just one minute of work. Most carbon-cutting solutions cause an initial amount of pollution to manufacture and ship the product. This upfront carbon cost can be huge, and with all of the money being spent on these ideas, there will be a massive surge in greenhouse gas emissions. It is often overlooked because these items might be made in another country. We aim to counter that surge.DescriptionMy wife and I own a couple of piano stores and music schools in the area. We want to do our part to help with the global warming problem. It started out with thinking that I needed to go electric to ease the guilt of my huge piano delivery truck spewing fumes every day. When I looked into it, it was super expensive and really wasn't a great idea. It would take 4 years of driving to make up for the initial carbon caused by making the truck. Even then it would only go about 50 miles loaded with pianos and would cost $150,000 plus. So I thought what can I do with that money to help other people's cars to make up for my truck's waste. That's when I came up with this plan.There is massive waste of fuel in vehicles with low tire pressure. Our goal is to check pressure and properly fill tires on a mass scale in parking lots and gas stations around the world. On average, every car that we service, whether we fill tires or not, will save 30 pounds of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. This can take one to three minutes. It is extremely cost-effective and very simple to implement.We will be focused on carefully collecting data on every car we service so we can use this data to promote our services to governments, businesses, and the press. We will work on partnering with large corporations, city, county, state, and federal governments.
