Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Inspector in Paramount, CA.

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

Inspect in-process and fully machined aerospace parts using standard tools to ensure they meet specifications.
Perform first part inspections and verify part identification and configurations.
Interpret job routers/manufacturing orders to ensure correct part processing.
Identify and segregate non-conforming products to maintain high-quality standards.
Use basic inspection tools, including surface plates, micrometers, height gauges, and calipers, to inspect parts.
Perform full first article inspections to verify part compliance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area in accordance with 6S initiatives.
Conduct basic maintenance on inspection tools and equipment.
Comply with PCC Code of Conduct and all company policies and procedures.
Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and participate in safety and maintenance procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure quality and operational standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or GED.
1+ years of related work experience or equivalent training.
Strong technical skills with the ability to read and understand blueprints, engineering diagrams, and sketches.
Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and height gauges.
Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 (preferred).
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs as per EHS policies.
Previous experience in the aerospace or forging industry is a plus but not required.

This is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
