Technician will require to perform basic electrical and mechanical operations, as well as inspect, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and systems.Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving parts and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is required to wear special garments when working in a clean room.Key Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision builds prototype devices based of off engineering sketches, drawings, verbal instruction and/or written instructions.
  • Performs and documents sophisticated repairs, testing, maintenance, fabrication, inspection, and calibration of components, test apparatus, and associated specific subject area equipment.
  • Conducts training of manufacturing personnel and other technicians.
  • Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory/manufacturing equipment.
  • Solves problems related to electrical, mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
  • Assists engineers in specific subject area by problem solving and making design recommendations based on product knowledge.
  • Performs self-inspections of own work.
  • When applicable, follows standard operating procedures for all tasks.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work area.
  • Responsible for finishing the appropriate safety and environmental hazard training.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.\r\r
