As a result, our company is growing fast and always welcoming new talents.SUMMARYDevelops, implements, and leads efforts of planning, shipping, receiving, purchasing, and logistics departments, in logistics to ensure meeting of contractual commitments of LISI Aerospace Hi-Shear Corporation's customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages activities to analyze and plan customer demand and other data to plan and develop logistic activities for division.
  • Directs and coordinates supply chain program activities designed to provide manufacturing with materials and on-time delivery.
  • Plans, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement, planning, logistics, shipping, and receiving functions.
  • Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
  • Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability, and prepares market analysis reports.
  • Develops and maintains a system to evaluate vendors, quotations, pricing, cost reductions that utilizes appropriate negotiation achieve established objectives with associated KPIs.
  • Designs, implements, manages, and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
  • Prepares and reviews contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for accuracy, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
  • Determines parameters for ERP/MRP and manages based on market/demand conditions to achieve acceptable on-time delivery, and manages inventory to appropriate levels in order to reduce waste.
  • Continues routine communication with customer service regarding customer on-time performance, delivery delays, Key Performance Indicators and recovery plans as required.
  • Develops and implements clerical and operational procedures and practices for shipping and receiving departments.
  • Studies work flow, sequence of operations in shipping department, and determines expediency.
  • Ensures compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local and State government, and LISI Aerospace policies, procedures and plans.
  • Responsible for attending all training provided and for adhering to all HSE procedures, policies, and plans, conforming to reporting requirements, and safe operating procedures at all times.
  • Required to bring any known or suspected nonconformance for all company procedures or legal requirements to management's attention immediately.

      • Bachelor's degree from a four-year University in a related field.
      • 5 or more years of experience in Logistics or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
      • Customer interface/interaction experience related to understanding of customer specifications and satisfaction required.
      • Work knowledgeable in planning, input/output control, product structures, bill of materials, routings, demand management, stockroom, ERP, and cost accounting systems.
      • Experienced with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kanban, JIT manufacturing principles preferred.Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to
